May 30	9am sample work no Y no squirrel no garbage pickup today (learned that on holiday weeks, they come a day later). gave us time to empty the rabbit and cat litter watered the pool-hole grass went to two DMVs and finally got my m/c classification transferred from Kansas! Yay!

May 29	work no Y Chase Corporate Challenge (3.5 mile walk/jog/run) with Lisa and Deb (walking) and Barb and I (jogging) -- we did it in 40 minutes race time, or about 37 minutes "real" time -- took a few minutes to get to the starting line! just under 8,000 participants (8800 registered). talked to legere a bit :) (he ran it in 22 minutes! won the ceo portion). Mark W, Jason M, Ying, and Gary participated, too.

May 28	work Y dinner Abbott's :) graded a SANS paper re-baited squirrel trap (it triggered again, but no squirrel!). put a piece of peanut buttered bread at one end, closed that trap door, and crossed our fingers!

Apr 4	"major ice storm" - no power at work; working from home trees all over are covered in about half an inch of ice; branches down everywhere, the branches our birch tree out front are touching the ground weather.com predicts more of the same all the way through tomorrow if you don't hear from me later today or tomorrow, it's because the power went out :) power and cable went out for about 2 hours

(sitting here working from home, when it gusts, I can't see my neighbor's house across the street) shoveled a third time (got the sidewalk and deck this time) took the STAR application down to the assessor's office talked to dad for a bit
